It's official

I am proudly a stay-at-home mommy now. I am enjoying my new job. My tension headaches are gone and I am so happy. Yes, my kids are handfuls, but I love every minute that I am getting to spend with them.

Love, Steph

Boys will be boys....

We had in interesting adventure today! Dylan fell and bumped his head. He instantly had an indentation and then it swelled up before I could even bring my finger to the spot to feel the indentation. It was a quick trip to the ER to make sure he was okay (he is).

As a mother, you can’t avoid the bumps and bruises; but the hugs and kisses always make the boo boos better!

6 years of marriage...10 years of bliss!

Dean and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary this weekend. Our 10 year's of being together is also this week! We enjoyed a fantastic, long over-due date.

Here is to another decade of being together!

“You know you've read a good book when you turn the last page and feel a little as if you have lost a friend.” Paul Sweeney

I have continued to have one true passion and hobby throughout my adult life. It is the love of a good book. I often consider myself a dork for my constant "love affair" with books. I call it a "love affair" because it consumes you. You meet a good book and you can't stop. The next thing you know.... you have stayed up all night because you couldn't put it down. The worst part of staying up all night to finish it, is when you wake up, there is no more. You almost feel sad when you read the last page.

I love to read them, but most of all I get great satisfaction out of sharing them with someone who might enjoy them too!

Finding myself

Okay...so I think that it is a maternal instinct that when your baby turns one, the mom is allowed to take back her life as her own. The first year of life doesn't belong to you when you have a baby! Once your baby start to develop their independence.....mommy finds it too!

I am enjoying getting to paint my nails, working out or just allowing myself time alone. Love the babies, but love myself too! ;)

Love,
Steph

Trying to find motivation on my way out...

So I have a little over a month left at work. I am trying to navigate through all the piles of paperwork and delegate my responsibilities. I think 45 days notice is way to long because I have moments where I think I am done!!!! I guess I should get through August before I complain!
